2017-2018 UA Standing Committee Preferences Survey

University standing committees play an important role in the shared governance and function of the University of Alabama. Their purpose is to keep abreast with the great variety of challenges that faculty and staff encounter as the university grows and changes over time. Their findings, suggestions, and solutions are passed on to the President of the University of Alabama, as part of the advisory relationship faculty and staff have with him. All effort is made to maintain the highest possible level of representation and diversity in all such committees. Please consider serving on one of them; you may find the description of each committee’s duties at http://www.committees.ua.edu/ under “Section I” and “Section II.”
Faculty and staff interested in volunteering for a University Standing Committee next year (or would like to resign from any committee they are currently serving) can click on the link below to complete the 2018-2019 UA Committee Preferences Survey.
