The Burnum Distinguished Faculty Award is awarded annually to recognize and promote excellence in research, scholarship and teaching.
Blackmon-Moody Award
The Blackmon-Moody Outstanding Professor Award recognizes singular, exceptional or timely work in the form of: research, product, program or published material.
Outstanding Commitment to Teaching
The University of Alabama National Alumni Association award designed to annually recognize four faculty members a the Capstone who demonstrate “Outstanding Commitment to Teaching.”
SEC Faculty Achievement Award
These awards recognize faculty from SEC member universities with outstanding records in research and scholarship. There is one winner/nominee per campus and one overall winner for the Conference. All receive an honorarium and memento from the SEC.
Community Engagement Awards
The Council on Community-Based Partnerships recognizes outstanding achievements in engagement scholarship. Students, faculty, staff and their community partners are honored for excellence in community-based research.
ORED Research Awards
The University of Alabama is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and service. We recognize the importance of national and international faculty awards. Individual faculty, departments and colleges are encouraged to actively nominate members for appropriate awards
